Todays Bullying Epidemic

Bullying is a nationwide epidemic that leaves kids fending for themselves and parents desperate to keep their children safe.

Ifkids Seminars provides a social learning environment where Year 5-7 children from different schools get together and feel free to talk about their concerns and discuss ways to overcome their problems.

The Intensive One Day Seminars top up the work being done in schools and give children an alternative environment to talk about their experiences in a small group situation.

The programs are taught by an experienced teacher (over twenty years) who takes a personal interest in helping each child to learn how to be more confident and assertive in their behaviour.

Ant-Bullying Seminars

The Ifkids Anti-Bullying Seminar has been designed to encourage the children to identify whether or not they may inadvertently presenting the typical characteristics of a target. It is possible that because of the way a child acts or behaves he/she may actually appear a suitable victim for the bully. We discuss different scenarios and act out possible strategies to help deal with bullies.

We also look at the dangers of the Internet and chat-rooms. Children will become more aware of the dangers of speaking to people they don’t know.Cyber-bullying is a real concern for many children. We look at examples of cyber-bullying define what cyber-bullying is and create an action plan to help the children to deal with it.
